The Chateau de Janvry is a private castle dating from the 17th century and owned by the Reille family. The property is located in natural parks of the Chevreuse valley, in the Essonne department (91, Ile-de-France), just 20 miles south from Paris in France. This historic landmark is located in the village of Janvry, a small village with a population of 630 inhabitants in a region formerly known as Hurepoix. |
The castle is a domain of 750 acres (or 300 hectares) including woodland and open and farming fields. Plains of the region are covered with a very fertile silt, excellent base for grain cultivation and sustainable forest management. Those plains and forests create a unique and ideal environment, minutes away from Paris, France, for your hunts. |
The castle, listed in the French Historical Monuments Inventory, is an ideal place for photo, video and motion pictures shoots or private events. |
